Why owning your domain and CMS matters from day one

If you cannot log in and change your own phone number, you do not really own your website. Plenty of small businesses discover this the hard way when they change agencies.

Know which address you own

Every site we build launches on a free Vercel domain, such as yourbusiness.vercel.app — no registration fee and no renewal. If you would rather use a branded .co.nz or .com address, register it in your business name with your own email on the account; you keep the login and we connect it for you.

Content should live in a CMS you control

Your site runs on Payload CMS, so text, photos, opening hours and blog posts are all editable in the admin panel. No developer invoice for a price change.

Export before you leave

If you ever move on, you take the domain, the content and the database with you. No lock-in contracts and no ransom fees.
